Shea, 84Eileen Patricia Shea, a longtime resident of Westport, died July 28 Milford Hospital. She was 84.The wife of the late John F. Shea, she was born Nov. 7, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late William and Ellen McDonnell Flanagan. A passionate artist, she spent much of her time drawing and painting. Inspired by the things she loved, she created countless sketches, watercolors, pastels, and oil paintings of the beach, her garden and her family. She was a voracious reader. When not consumed with her art, she could often be found in the library or at the beach with a book in hand on every subject imaginable.She is survived by her children, Lisa (George) Zint, Maryellen Shea, John Shea and Rosanne Shea Hall; grandchildren, Jacqueline (David) Taylor, Julia (Will) Robinson, Andrew Zint and Jack Shea; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Sarah Taylor, Henry Lee, and Thomas and Leah Robinson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Eileen Patricia Shea and brother, William Flanagan. All services will be private.
